Frequently Asked Questions

  • How secure is a Skype conversation if I'm using your VPN, but the other person is not?

Your Skype conversation traffic will be encrypted, like everything else you do on the Internet while connected to one of our servers. However, if the other person is not using a VPN or an SSH tunnel, everything you wrote to them or they wrote to you will not be encrypted.

  • What kind of services do you provide?

We provide traffic encryption services based on the VPN (stands for Virtual Private Network) technology. These services are useful for protecting your information against possible interception at those places where wireless networks are not protected well enough. For example, at most airports (including airport lounges), hotels, cafés and various hot-spots. This is also useful for the purposes of privacy even if your connection is wired or if you are connecting to a secured wireless network. Unfortunately, it is still possible for intruders to break in to even secured networks.

  • Are your services suitable for me?

Our services are useful for anyone who is conscious of their privacy and security of their Internet connection. Besides business people, frequent travellers and users of Wi-Fi hot-spots, our services provide rigid protection for anyone who wants peace of mind when it comes to safety of their data flow.

  • Why should I choose you, and not some other company who may provide services similar to yours?

We offer data flow protection relying on offshore servers in an offshore location. Even though our services are located offshore, they are connected via 100 Mbps high-speed ports. Unlike many other offshore data centers, ours is connected to Tier 1 providers (Global Crossing and Columbus Network) via Multiple Redundant Fibers (Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean), which allows rapid access from North America, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, Asia and Oceania. Some of the features of the offshore data center at which our servers are hosted:
    - 99.9% Network Uptime
    - DDoS protected network
    - Intrusion Prevention System by IBM Proventia
    - Cisco Powered Network for Routing and Switching
    - 24x7 Network Monitoring

  • How else are you different from other VPN service providers?

One of our goals is flexibility for you. We want to give you a choice! You can customize your solution to suit your needs: choose your connection speed, bandwidth and type of connection. Soon, you will also be able to choose various locations of servers you would like to connect to.

  • Where are your servers located?

Our servers are located in an offshore private data center in Panama.

  • What other VPN connection locations will you be offering?

We are working on setting up our servers in the following additional locations: United States Canada European Union After we have done setting up servers there, we will move on and set up additional servers in other locations, depending on your demands and requests.

  • Will servers in other locations have the offshore location status?

Servers in other offshore locations are in our plans. However, not all countries are commonly considered to be "offshore". Therefore, it will be up to you which server to choose to connect to.

  • How can you guarantee that my data are secure?

You can conduct your own tests with our VPN connection and see that the data flow is encrypted. Nobody, including us, is able to see your data because it is encrypted. In addition, we do not store logs on our servers.

  • Will my IP address change upon connecting to your VPN network?

Yes, you will be assigned an IP address from our network by our DNS server. Your outside IP address will change, providing you an additional layer of privacy.

  • The Internet provider network I'm connecting to does not assign unique IP addresses, because it uses NAT...

Yes, absolutely. We offer two options for connecting to our secure private network: a PPTP-type connection, which is easily set up using standard Windows, MacOS, Linux or other OS features; and an openVPN connection, which works even if you are behind a NAT. In addition, we are working on enabling support for the new openVPN technology called openVPN Access Server. This technology will allow you to setup your openVPN connection in a few easy steps, without downloading any configuration files. All you will have to do is enter our AS server address and your username and password. This will be available very soon.

  • Do you offer Private VPN servers?

We do! You will see updated information about our Private VPN Server solutions very soon. However, you can send us requests for additional information and pricing by contacting us.

  • Can I use this VPN connection on my iPad or iPhone?

Yes, you can. We will post detailed information on how to set up a VPN connection and use our services on your iPhone or iPad. In the meantime, you can set this up by yourself - just use an embedded tool for VPN connections and enter your subscription details provided by our service.

  • I don't want to use the full connection encryption capability service provided by the VPN technology...

Soon we will implement a SOCKS5 proxy server solution, which will allow you to "proxify" most of your connection protocols, such as Web, ICQ, MSN, Skype, etc. Stay tuned!
